I'm a writer and editor with roots in New York City.

Right now, I'm a contributing editor at Vera Unveiled, Vera Wang's blog. Previously, I was the Senior Editor at Fashion Wire Daily for six years and I used to write a weekly fashion column for The Daily Beast. I was also a member of the selection committee for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards.

I've also profiled artists, musicians, chefs, fashion designers and boutiques for W Magazine, Dossier Journal, Vice, Blend, Plastique, Useless, written travel stuff for Jauntsetter and contributed to Time Out New York's shopping section.

Other stuff: I graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College in Art History and for the last decade or so, could be found performing in everything from art galleries to venues like Joe's Pub and The Kitchen in the Kate Bush Dance Troupe and as a backup dancer in a '70s-style variety show.

I consider Kenneth Anger's Puce Moment to be an excellent pick-me-up.
